Residential Services
Garden of Hope’s General Residential Operation (GRO) provides a stable, nurturing, and supportive living environment for children and youth in the foster care system who require 24/7 care. GOH is committed to delivering trauma-informed services that promote healing, growth, and overall well-being.
Services Offered
24/7 Direct Care:
A team of trained direct care staff provides round-the-clock supervision and support, ensuring safety, stability, and consistency in a structured environment.
Trauma-Informed Care:
All staff are trained in trauma-informed practices to address the emotional and psychological needs of children who have experienced trauma. Services focus on building resilience and fostering healthy development.
Counseling and Support Services:
On-site counseling services are available to support mental health needs, address emotional challenges, and promote healing through individual and group therapy sessions.
Volunteer
Case Management:
Personalized case management services ensure each child receives individualized care plans, including educational support, medical care coordination, and life-skills development.
Education and Enrichment:
GOH provides academic support, tutoring, and enrichment activities to encourage learning and personal growth. Recreational programs are also offered to promote physical health and social skills.
Basic Needs and Life Skills:
GOH ensures that each child’s basic needs, such as clothing, hygiene products, and nutritious meals, are met. Life skills programs prepare youth for independence by teaching essential skills like budgeting, cooking, and personal care.
