Build Hope. Garden of Hope.

BIG NEWS!

New Residential Facility Under Construction

Flintrock Builders to the Rescue

In the aftermath of losing the Garden of Hope residential facility in August 2024, Chris Douse and Matt Yowell of Flintrock Builders stepped forward with unwavering commitment and a shared vision to rebuild not just a structure, but a place of healing and hope for children in foster care. Their leadership in the rebuilding efforts exemplifies their belief in the power of community and resilience.

Their dedication to Garden of Hope reflects more than just construction; it’s about restoring a safe haven where vulnerable children can find stability, care, and the support they deserve.

Chris and Matt’s deep understanding of the mission behind Garden of Hope has driven every decision, ensuring that the new facility is built with integrity, compassion, and a focus on the well-being of every child who enters its doors.

This transformative effort is strengthened through a powerful partnership with Destiny World Outreach Center (DWOC), who are committed to ensuring that quality care services remain at the heart of everything Garden of Hope provides. Together, Flintrock Builders and DWOC embody a shared mission: to uplift, protect, and empower the most vulnerable members of our community.

The collaboration between these dedicated partners is a testament to what can be accomplished when businesses and community organizations unite for a greater cause. Through their collective efforts, a new chapter begins — one built on a foundation of resilience, hope, and an unwavering commitment to the children who need it most.

Flintrock Builders is on a mission to redefine construction with excellence, innovation, and integrity. Our skilled team is dedicated to delivering quality craftsmanship, sustainable solutions, and exceptional value, all while building lasting relationships and leaving a positive impact on the communities we serve.

We are so excited that we have been awarded the Anderson Grant a $15,000 MATCH Grant!
As Garden of Hope of Central Texas Foster Care Agency, we are deeply grateful for the ongoing support from our community.

Last year, we were privileged to provide beds and a safe haven for 99 children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Through our resource center, we extend our reach to over 840 children, ensuring their basic needs are met and they have access to the support and resources essential for their well-being in Central Texas

One impactful story highlights the profound impact of our work. A young boy arrived at Garden of Hope having never slept in a bed

before. The transition was overwhelming, and he cried and screamed at the sight of running water—a basic element of daily life he had never experienced. Witnessing his fear and emotional turmoil was a stark reminder of the trauma these children endure

Your support enables us to continue providing vital services to these vulnerable children. By contributing to our matching grant campaign, you are helping to ensure that Garden of Hope can sustain our efforts, providing a safe, nurturing environment for these children as they heal and grow.

Thank you for supporting Garden of Hope of Central Texas Foster Care Agency. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.
